The tape that comes with this is the correct width for 1/8" tape. A lot of kits you'll find on other websites come with DAT splicing tape, which is the WRONG width for normal cassette tapes. It will overhang over the tape or stick to the walls of the splicing block when you try to apply it. This kit is the real deal and its the only one I recommend to fellow hobbyists.
